Matthew Gates

I’m Matthew Gates, a driven and detail-oriented professional passionate about leadership, events, and creating meaningful experiences. I have hands-on experience leading and supporting teams, having served as Lead New Member Advisor for the Herd of Thunder Marching Band at the University of South Florida, where I guided and mentored new members to ensure their successful integration and growth.

Currently, I’m gaining practical experience as a Live Events Intern for USF Athletics, contributing to the planning and execution of engaging sports events that enhance fan experiences. My goal is to continue leveraging my leadership and organizational skills in dynamic environments, while making a tangible impact through teamwork and innovation.
